Mall of Georgia

We went down to Georgia so Lori could go an a womens retreat with her sister white water rafting on the Occoee River. While she was away Joel and I got to watch all the kids plus 5 more from the Bethea family. It wasn't as hard as it sounds they pretty much watched each other. We watched movies and played Wii all night and then went to the Mall of Georgia so the kids could play and we could get something to eat. On the way out we met Ivory Latta, the greatest female Carolina basketball player of all time. Jordan got to take a picture with her and it was a great thrill for me.

Jordan's first driving lesson!

Just kidding! Sometimes when we have things to get out of the car after a trip Jordan will just make her way up to the front seats and will not give them up. She loves to be chased no matter where she is and she really like to sit in the front seats of the car for some reason. Before you ca DSS we anly let her up there when the car is off and parked. I know Jeremy would have made some kind of comment!

Watching Paige and Landon

Paige and Landon are Trey and Jennifer's kids, Trey was one of my college roomates. They live about 5 min away and have looked after Jordan when ever we have needed them. It was our turn, so we made a pallet on the living room floor and watched movies and cartoons until they had to go home. It was alot of fun and the kids love playing with Jordan, who has become very affectionate, giving kisses all over the place.

Trip to the Aquarium!

I don't know how, but I skipped a whole day we had with Jaden and Mom when we went to the Aquarium. It's down in Fort Fisher Rec area south of Carolina Beach and its an area we spent alot of time at when we were kids. They have updated the facilities but it still reminds me of years ago. Jordan and jaden loved all the exibits espcially the big tank, if you look past the glare you can see Mom sticking her tongue out at a huge Morey Eel. It was a lot of fun showing Jordan all the ocean has to offer!

2nd Anniversary

For Lori's and my second anniversary we went to the same resturant we went to last year, The Golden Anchor. We had Jordan with us this year and she had a blast until a big rain shower came in and scared her. After that was finished we went to the nature reserve and saw some deer. They got really close and Jordan loved it.

Dad's Wedding!

So my Dad decided to get married again to the woman he has been dating for 5 plus years. She's a very nice lady and they seem to be a perfect match....as far as perfect matches go in West Virginia. Which brings me to there wedding, which was held in the meeting hall of the VFW, and was completely WVU football themed. Well that just says it all but we had a good time and it was the perfect way to start our family vacation.
